 README: RSBot V0.1

 Introduction

Welcome to the RSBot project! This humanoid robot is an early pre-release version (V0.1) developed by Raphael Steffes and released through Steffes Industries. The RSBot is a modular robot designed for developers and enthusiasts. Please note that this is not a fully tested or optimized version, and it is intended for experimental and development purposes only.

 Important Information

 Development Status:
- Version: V0.1 (Pre-release)
- Key Features:
  - Modular design for customization and upgrades.
  - Components such as the hand and foot can be replaced with your own designs.
- Incomplete Features:
  - All circuit boards are currently missing.
  - The mechanics have not been fully tested.
  - The hand is not yet fully developed. Depending on the linear actuator you use, you will need to design and print a suitable adapter to connect the actuator to the fingers.
  - Software is not included but will be provided in future updates.

 Assembly Instructions

 General Guidelines:
- Printing Material: All parts should be printed using PCTG at high temperatures for durability.
- Gear Printing: Ensure gears have a minimum wall thickness of 2mm.
- Printer Size: A larger 3D printer is recommended to accommodate the size of RSBot parts.
- Adjustments: If certain parts do not fit perfectly, please do not hesitate to modify them for better compatibility.

 Motors and Components Required:
- Stepper Motors:
  - 2x NEMA8
  - 4x NEMA17
  - 12x NEMA23
  - 6x NEMA34

- Linear Actuators:
  - 10x linear actuators (15mm).
- Bearings:
  - Numerous 8x22x7mm ball bearings are required.
- Axles:
  - It is recommended to use custom machined axles. However, the design also allows for functional assembly using M8 screws and threaded rods.
- Fasteners:
  - Insert nuts: M6, M4.
  - Screws: M8, M6, and M4 in various lengths.
- Finger Axle Connections:
  - Use 2x4mm dowel pins and super glue as a method to connect the axles in the fingers.

 Disclaimer

This version of RSBot is designed for developers and is not a finalized product. CAD knowledge may be required to make modifications or adapt components. Be aware of the following:
- This project is distributed as-is, with no guarantees of performance or reliability.
- If you use RSBot as a foundation for a commercial product, you are free to do so without restrictions. However, you must acknowledge Steffes Industries and the RSBot version as the original foundation of your work.

 Additional Note:
This version of the robot is not final, and functionality is not guaranteed. This is an experimental pre-release, and users should expect to make adjustments and refinements as needed.

 Release Note

Due to financial and time constraints, this version of RSBot has not undergone extensive testing. The target release date is December 24, 2024, and we are committed to refining and expanding this project in the months to come. Your contributions, feedback, and innovations are welcome to help make RSBot a groundbreaking platform for humanoid robotics development.

 File Structure

- 3DPrints Folder: Contains all 3D printing data. Each folder includes an info file with additional details.
- RSBot-CAD Folder: Contains FreeCAD files. Please excuse the disorganization and the fact that everything is written in German. I was eager to release V0.1 as a Christmas gift to the world.

Thank you for your interest in RSBot! We hope this project inspires you and helps bring your robotic visions to life.
